1. How to apply a skin on my device?

Directions for applying a Skin on your device

Step 1 - Clean your device thoroughly with a soft dry cloth to remove any dust or grime.

Step 2-Pasting Skin – Back (fig. b)

  1. Peel the skin from its adhesive back carefully along the top edge.
  2. Carefully align peeled off portion of the skin with the top corners and camera hole of the phone.
  3. Then gently smooth the skin down onto the back of your handset.
  4. Keep removing the white backing paper while pressing down the skin.
  5. Once the backing paper is fully removed, press the skin properly so that no air bubbles form beneath.
  6. Dab gently with cloth to remove any smudges.

Pasting Skin – Front (fig. a)

  1. Peel the skin from its adhesive back carefully along the top edge.
  2. Carefully align the peeled off portion with the top corners, buttons and front camera hole of the phone.
  3. Then gently smooth the skin down onto the front of your handset.
  4. Keep removing the white backing paper while pressing down the skin.
  5. Be careful not to remove the screen guard from your front screen (if already applied) while pasting the skin.
  6. Press the skin properly so that no air bubbles form beneath.
  7. Dab gently with cloth to remove any smudges.

Pasting Skin – Sides (fig. c – if available))

  1. Peel the skin from its adhesive back carefully.
  2. To hold it perfectly, hold it by the edges preferably by a tweezer.
  3. Carefully align the top corners and any buttons or hole, and then gently smooth the skin down onto the side of your handset.
  4. Press the skin properly so that no air bubbles form beneath.
  5. Dab gently with cloth to remove any smudges.

If ordered from SkinticeWebstore, you can download the wallpaper on your computer and transfer it on your device.

Absolutely not! Skintice skins merely stick on top of your device. There is no need to open the device or any part of it.

4. Small parts like speaker, front camera, home key, volume key etc of my device still accessible when the skin is on?

6. How long the skin lasts?

These skins are made with 6-colour photo printing and UV-proof lamination and would last for over a year.

7. Are these skins reusable?

No, Skintice skins are removable not reusable. Once the skin is removed from your device it cannot be re-used again.

8. How to apply Screen Guards

Directions for Screen Guard Application

Step 1 - Clean your device thoroughly with a soft dry cloth.

Step 2 - Prepare the screen guard. If your screen guard has plastic (Polyethylene) layer (Layer 1), then remove it from the bottom of the screen guard.

Step 3 - Along with the width, remove the next PET layer (Layer 2) of the screen guard slightly from the bottom.

Step 4 - Carefully align the top corners and camera hole of the screen guard on your device.

Step 5 - Then gently smooth the screen guard down onto your handset.

Step 6 - Keep removing the back layer (Layer 2) while applying the screen guard (Layer 3) onto the screen. Then, using a pasting card, press on and scrape the protector from left to right to ensure there is no air bubbles beneath.

Step 7 - Once the screen guard is applied, remove the PET layer (Layer 4) from the top. Finalize the application by pressing smoothly down by your fingers.

Step 8 - Dab gently with a cotton cloth to remove any smudges.

9. What is IR Chip?

An Infra Red Radiation (IR) Protection Chip is a protective accessory to make your device safe from Infra-Red radiations. This chip is made of special material to absorb the IR radiations thereby protecting one from harmful ill effects. The IRC chip reduces the radiation by almost 99 percent and also enhances the battery life of the mobile.

Remove the adhesive tape from the back of the patch. Then place the adhesive side on the top half of back of the mobile close to the battery or the antennae.

10. What are Hard Case & Flip Cover Mobile covers?

A mobile hard case is a strong polycarbonate case. It helps the device from impact damage and everyday wear-and-tear. It is very simple to mount on and remove from the device. These one-piece snap-on built holds the device firmly and tightly. All hard cases allow easy access to buttons and are compatible with charging cables and screen guards.

11. What are Replacement Wraps for Hard Case & Flip Cover Mobile covers and how to apply them on your existing Cover previously purchased from Skintice?

Skintice offers a unique benefit to its customers of ordering Replacement Wraps for their existing covers. This would help keep the look of their phone fresh and interesting while economizing on the cost. A wrap is made of premium vinyl which is photo printed with high resolution finish laminated and then fixed onto the cover wrapping it all around. It also gives the cover a look better than direct printing.

Directions for applying a Replacement Wrap on your existing cover. Follow Steps 1 & 2 for Hard Cases and Steps 1-3 for Flip Covers.

  5. Once the backing paper is fully removed, press the skin properly squeezing out any entrapped  air bubbles underneath.
  6. Press it down firmly to fix the skin in place, particularly along the edges.
  7. Dab gently with cloth to remove any smudges.

Step 3 - Pasting Skin – Front/Flip  

  1. Peel the skin from its adhesive back carefully along the top edge.
  2. Carefully align the peeled off portion with the top corners, and the cutout of the cover.

  3. Then gently smooth the skin down onto the front of your cover.
  4. Keep removing the white backing paper while pressing down the skin.
  5. Press the skin properly so that no air bubbles form beneath.
  6. Press it down firmly to fix the skin in place, particularly along the edges.
  7. Dab gently with cloth to remove any smudges.

12. How do I find my device on the website?

It is very simple! Just click on Skins / Mobile covers from the main navigation of the website. Once you land on Skins / Mobile covers page you can select your brand and then your phone model. You also have an option to search for your device by device or model name in the search box provided.

13. Why can’t I find my device listed on Skintice website?

If you are unable to find your specific device and model on our website, then possibly at this time we do not offer skins for your device. However, you can put in a request by clicking on “Device not found” link on the Device selection page and enter a request for the same to be added. We will definitely add your device in our list and inform you over your registered mail ID once done.

14. How many models are added in your website?

We currently have nearly 700 models available on our site across various device categories like phones, tablets and laptops. Besides this, we continuously keep adding new devices as they are launched or as per requests received by us.

15. What are the various payment methods that Skintice website accepts?

We accept all major credit cards, debit cards and Net banking.

For credit cards we accept VISA, Mastercard and Dicover.For Debit cards we accept Visa and Mastercard.

For Net Banking we accept popular banks like Axis bank, HDFC bank, ICICI bank, State Bank of India, Citi Bank and many other banks.

Besides this, we also offer Cash on Delivery for Kiosk Pickup delivery option in case you choose to pick up your order from a nearby Skintice Kiosk.

16. Do you accept cheques and money order?

No, at this time we do not accept cheques or money order as our payment mode.

17. How long it takes to my order to ship?

The orders take upto 7 working days to be shipped. We have tied up with major courier companies as our shipping partner. The shipping details are sent to you in the order confirmation email.

18. How much does the shipping cost?

All shipping within India is free. For deliveries outside India, the shipping charges are as per actuals as indicated in the order finalization screen of the checkout section.

19. I ordered for a wrong model, how could I cancel the order?

Skintice does not accept cancellation requests once orders have been placed. This is because of the fabrication procedure of skins, which are personalized for every customer as per their choice of design and device model.
